The sole of these work boots is made from MAXWEAR 90™ Traction Outsole with Heel, which offers better flexibility than other work boot outsoles. It absorbs impacts and protects your feet and ankles while working on difficult surfaces, keeping you stable on loose gravel and wet and oily surfaces. These boots meet the slip-resistance standards for work boots set by ASTM F3445-21.

They are designed in Thorogood’s moc toe work boot style, combining comfort and durability.

They are available in Tobacco (804-4308) and Trail Crazyhorse (804-4378) colors, which have a special wax applied, giving them a vintage, Old West look.

These boots have a steel toe that protects your feet from impact and compression hazards. Despite the added safety feature, the design keeps them light and flexible, making them one of the best safety toe boots for men with dangerous jobs. They meet the safety toe standards set by ASTM F2413-18.

These MAXWear 90 work boots also meet ASTM F2413-18 electrical hazard resistance safety standards.

They feature a removable ultimate shock absorption footbed on Poron Comfort Cushion Insole. Thorogood’s dual-density cushioning uses air-permeable open cells that resist moisture and absorb shock, providing maximum comfort.

All boots featuring a safety toe, either steel or composite, meet or exceed the falling impact and compression testing standards.

[I] IMPACT: Footwear retains a clearance of .500 inch (1/2 inch) for men's and .468 inch (15/32 inch) for women's after a nominal impact of 75 foot-pounds (101.7J).

[C] COMPRESSION: Footwear retains a clearance of .500 inch (1/2 inch) for men's and .468 inch (15/32 inch) for women's after a compression force of 2500 lbs.

[EH] ELECTRIC HAZARD [ASTM F2413-18 OR ASTM F2892]

Constructed or manufactured with electric shock-resisting soles and heels, capable of withstanding an application of 18,000 volts (RMS value) at 60 Hz for 1 minute without any current leakage in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions.

OIL-RESISTING OUTSOLE

The outsole is designed to withstand or reduce damage due to oil.
